Silver Raven’s expertise in civil construction and concrete remediation was of assistance to WGE in the plant shutdown of the Wollongong coke quenching stations for BlueScope Steel. We delivered a comprehensive solution to deteriorated concrete and steel reinforcement throughout the plant.
Services delivered by Silver Raven include:
- Demolition of deteriorated concrete, repair/reinstatement of exposed reinforcement.
- Reinstatement of deteriorated concrete with dry process shotcrete.
- Construction of retention basin footings and wall panels. Silver Raven delivered services ranging from the demolition of the existing deteriorated footings and walls, to the placement of steel reinforcement, formwork and concrete required for the reconstruction.
- Extensive grouting works.
- Construction of railway line footings.
- Drainage works/installation of culverts.
